failure

I just want to say I was really moved on your lecture yesterday about failure. Maybe because I experienced failures and I just felt that connection when you were telling about it. If you fail, you should have the mindset, so what? Thus, move on and excel on other things where you might be good at. Concentrate on where you are good at. It is not about how many times you fall but what matters most is how you stand up after each fall. You have a choice whether you’ll stay failure forever or you want to prove everybody that you can do it. Furthermore, when you said about the job opportunities after college, for example the engineer who became a call center agent, it’s really depends on the person. It’s not about what course you’ve taken or what school you came from, well maybe it matters a little, but what matters most is what you want and where you excel at. Forget about on the failures you’ve gone through because it will just depress you and don’t let them break you, move forward. When we are deciding about on our future job, we should remove the question where will I get so much profit because I’m sure it will follow later if you like the things you are doing now. I just realized, yes! We should think about these things because it is not end of the world if we fail on things, especially on education. So what? Better luck next time and try harder. thank you.

CRAVE

grabe! maybe now, i just want to tell a little about my extra thing this semester. This semester, Iam an applicant of UPJMA. And one of the requirements of the app process was the app project, where we should plan, organize and execute an event where we should reach a certain objective. Actually, this event was like the major requirement of all apps. At first, we were not aware of the things that we should concentrate on and because of that we had a lot of concepts in mind. But finally, we decided to go with the theme CRAVE: a chocolate rave! :)Our event was held at the Grove by Rockwell near tiendesitas. We had "Guilty pleasure will arise as the Manila scene indulges in a world you could only have dreamed of. FEAST your eyes on the hottest summer looks in a stunning SWIMWEAR FASHION SHOW with chocolate body art,REVEL in the decadence of free-flowing CHOCOLATE LIQUOR and LOSE yourself to the beat of the LATEST HITS" as our invitation. At first, a lot were asking if how does it work? chocolate and alcohol? ano lasa nun? haha. The main problem we encountered was that we were out the schedule. The posters and tarps were delivered late, we didnt know where to put the equipments and decors, we got at Grove late on the day itself due to some unexpected things and others. Basta, we were out of time. At this point, we were all agit(mad) and stressed. haha. We were really scared and nervous that our event might not be a success because of what happened and because it was our first time to work together as a team. BUT guess what! YEAH! We pulled it off baby!. The event was wild! Everyone was dancing and drinking. During the fashion show, everyone was shouting and cheering for the models. Surely, that night gave them a time to relax and distress themselves after a week of hell. Also, our time, effort, hard work, tears, laughter, hardships and all were soooo ssoooo worth it!! I love Batch IN HIGH DEFINITION! :) This was one of the greatest app events or the best. haha. joke! (baka may magalit!) im just so proud and lucky to be part of this batch. :)

hell weekend.

Last weekend was hell for me! I had so much work to do and was asking myself, why do these work came at the same time? Why cant it be one at a time? I had a report in BA 180.1 last Saturday, econ 100.2 exam the day after then took another exam last Monday. Unfortunately, the members in our group also took the econ 100.2 exam. So, we were like thinking about the econ exam while preparing for our presentation on BA 180.1. On our part, we also made a mistake of cramming because of our hectic and tiring schedule. Despite of the scenario, we were able to plan, conceptualize and execute the things that we wanted to communicate. It went well though, but we wished we had more time to prepare. Sunday came and I was so nervous about the exam because the previous one was really really hard. But then I was relieved after, knowing that a lot of people said that it was relatively easier than the second exam. Even though it was like this, I had the feeling that was still unsure if I pass or not. So there, this was my hectic weekend and hoping that all the outcomes of my hard work will pay.

BA 180.1

haha. i was absent when we were asked to make a blog. so, im not sure if I'm doing the right thing or not but in any case, this blog should most probably be related to BA180.1. haha. Here it goes, last two meetings ago, we were taught on how to use and make a flowchart. it was new for me because i never encountered how to make one. then the week after, we didnt have class. i attended the BEAST and played for BA basketball against STATISTICS. the game was intense. we were up, i think in first half but unfortunately, we lost by 1 point. the next game we had was against economics. we lost again but this time a big one. playing at the beast was a good experience. there was pressure because you bring your college's name with you but at the same time, exciting. it was really a good one for me. i hope that would not be the last time i'll represent my college. :)
